Write in Arabic and right-to-left
Mix Arabic and Latin text, set paragraph direction and justify with kashida.
Qalam is built for Arabic as much as for English and French.
- Each paragraph has its own direction. Use the right-to-left and left-to-right buttons in the Paragraph group to change it.
- Arabic and Latin words can be mixed in one paragraph.
- Justified Arabic text is stretched with kashida (ـ) rather than wide spaces.
- Spelling is checked in Arabic too.
- Exported PDF files keep real Arabic text that can be searched and copied.
