Shapes, text boxes and WordArt

On the Insert tab:

• Shapes — lines, arrows, rectangles, callouts and more. Draw the shape on the page, then type in it if you like.
• Text Box — a box of text you can place anywhere on the page.
• WordArt — decorative text with outline, shadow and colour effects.

Select the object to change its fill, outline, size, position and how text wraps around it. Use Bring Forward and Send Backward to order overlapping objects.
