Qalam checks spelling and grammar as you type in English, French and Arabic. The language is detected for each paragraph.
- A red wavy line marks a spelling mistake; a blue one, a grammar issue.
- Right-click the word to pick a suggestion, Ignore it, or add it to your dictionary.
Check the whole document
On the Review tab, select Spelling & Grammar to go through each issue.
Turn checking off
Untick Check as you type in the Tools menu.

Checking happens in your browser. Your text isn't sent anywhere.
Review › Thesaurus suggests other words with the same meaning.
