Upload a new version or restore an old one
Replace a file while keeping its history, and go back to an earlier version.

Upload a new version
- Select the file and choose Upload a new version.
- Pick the new file on your computer.
The link and sharing stay the same; the previous version is kept in the history.
Restore an earlier version
- Select the file and choose Manage versions.
- Find the version you want. You can download it first.
- Select Restore this version.
Restoring keeps the current version in the history, so nothing is lost.
Note
Older versions count towards your storage. The owner can delete old versions they no longer need.
