Notifications on your phone
Get new mail, calls and reminders, choose what notifications show, and keep them working in the background.
On this page
Each app asks for notification permission the first time. If you said no, turn notifications on in your phone's settings for that app.
Barid
- New mail notifications check your inbox in the background, every few minutes (Check for new mail every).
- Instant notifications (UnifiedPush) deliver new mail right away through Woosool's own push service. They need a UnifiedPush distributor app on the phone; without one, Barid checks periodically.
- Show sender and subject: turn it off to show only how many new messages you have, also on the lock screen.
Wasla
Calls ring through a connection that Wasla keeps open. If notifications are off, the app warns Notifications are off: incoming calls can't ring.
Yoom
Event reminders arrive as Event reminders notifications.
Keep them working
Some phones stop apps in the background to save battery. If notifications arrive late, choose Keep the connection in the background in Barid, and allow the Woosool apps to run without battery restrictions in your phone's settings.
You can hide the permanent "connection" notification in your phone's notification settings; the connection keeps working.
