Generate strong passwords
Create random passwords or passphrases, and check how strong a password is.
Open Password generator:
- Choose Password or Passphrase.
- For a password, set the length and choose letters (A–Z, a–z), digits (0–9) and symbols (!@#$). For a passphrase, set the number of words.
- Select Generate another until you like it, then copy it.
The generator shows about how many bits of entropy the result has.
Check a password
Under Check a password, type any password to see its Password strength. It's checked on your device against a built-in list of the most common breached passwords — nothing is sent anywhere.
