Get started with Qalam

Qalam is your Woosool word processor. Open it at qalam.woosool.com.

Every document is saved in your Khazna as a .docx file, so you can open it in Qalam, share it from Khazna, or download it and open it in another word processor.

The home page

• Start a new document — a blank document or a template.
• Import a file — turn a file from your computer into a Qalam document.
• All, Owned by me, Shared with me, Starred and Recent — filter your documents.
• Search documents — find a document by name.
• Shared drives — documents in your team's shared drives.

The editor

The ribbon at the top groups commands in tabs: File, Home, Insert, Draw, Design, Layout, References, Mailings, Review and View. On the right are Comments, Version history and Share.

Qalam saves as you type. The status next to the name shows Saving… then Saved to Khazna.
