Use host controls
Mute people, lower hands, lock the meeting, and choose what participants can do.
Open Host controls:
- Mute everyone and Lower all hands.
- Lock meeting — nobody else can join or ask to join.
- End for everyone.
- Under Let participants, choose who can turn on their microphone, camera, share their screen, draw on the whiteboard, send chat or private messages and send reactions: Everyone, Hosts only or Nobody.
For one person
In People, open the actions for someone: Mute microphone, Turn off camera, Stop their presentation, Lower hand, Make co-host, Remove from meeting or Remove and block.
Note
Hosts can mute people but never turn their microphone or camera back on.
