Enter and edit data
Type numbers, text, dates and percentages, edit cells and add line breaks.
- Select a cell and start typing. Press Enter to move down or Tab to move right.
- To change a cell, double-click it or press F2. You can also edit in the formula bar.
- Press Esc to cancel.
Jadwal recognises what you type: 12%, 1,234.50, 2026-03-15 or 14:30 become numbers, percentages, dates or times with a matching format. Start with an apostrophe ('007) to keep it as text.
- Alt + Enter adds a line break in a cell.
- Del clears the selected cells.
Tip
On a phone, tap a cell to select it and tap it again to type.
