Get data from files, the web and Khazna
Import and clean data from CSV, JSON, XML, web pages, other workbooks and Khazna folders.
- On the Data tab, choose Get Data.
- Choose a source: a text/CSV, JSON or XML file from your computer, a web address, a table or range in this workbook, or From Khazna — a file, a workbook or a whole folder.
- In the Power Query Editor, clean the data: promote headers, change types, filter, sort, remove or split columns, group, merge or append queries.
- Load the result. It becomes a table on its own sheet.
To bring in new data later, choose Refresh All. Manage your queries in Queries & Connections.
Tip
"From Folder" combines every file in a Khazna folder into one table — handy for monthly exports.
