Record a macro
Record your actions once and replay them with a click.
- On the Automate tab, choose to record a macro and give it a name. Tick Use relative references to replay from the active cell.
- Do the steps you want to repeat: typing, formatting, inserting rows, sorting and so on.
- Select Stop recording and save.
The macro is saved as a script. Run it from the Automate tab, or edit it in the Script editor.
