Choose a strong password
The rules every Woosool password must follow, and how to pick one that is easy to remember.
Woosool checks every new password when you sign up, change or reset it.
The rules
- At least 12 characters, and at most 128.
- Not a common password, and not one that appeared in data breaches.
- Not too predictable, such as repeated characters or a sequence.
- It must not contain your name or e-mail address.
- It must not be one of the passwords you used recently.
Your organisation can ask for a longer minimum (up to 64 characters).
Tips
Tip
A phrase of three or four unrelated words is strong and easy to remember. The strength meter under the field shows Very weak, Weak, Fair, Good or Strong.
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
- Store it in Aman, your Woosool password manager.
- Add 2-Step Verification or a passkey for extra protection.
