Create and join channels
Create public, private or announcement-only channels, and find channels to join.
On this page
Create a channel
- Select Create a channel.
- Enter a name, for example
marketing, and an optional description. - Choose:
- Private channel — only invited people can find and read it.
- Announcements only (admins post) — everyone reads, only owners and admins post.
- Select Create, then Add people.
Join a channel
Select Browse channels, search, open a channel to preview it, and select Join channel.
Plan
Channels are available on Pro, Business and Enterprise. On Free, you can have up to 10 group conversations.
