Set up your vault
Create a master password and save your recovery key the first time you open Aman.
- Open Aman. You're asked to Create your master password.
- Enter a Master password and Confirm master password. Use at least 10 characters — a long passphrase you don't use anywhere else, and not your Woosool Account password.
- Select Create vault.
- Aman shows Your recovery key. Download recovery kit or Print it and keep it offline, somewhere safe.
- Tick I saved my recovery key somewhere safe to continue.
Warning
The recovery key is the only way back into your vault if you forget your master password. Woosool can't reset it for you.
To change your master password later, open Settings › Change master password. Your items aren't re-encrypted; only the key protecting them is. To replace the recovery key, choose New recovery key — the old one stops working.
